About RAYWAY

Rayway is pleased to announce that after confirming with all of our 2019 graduates from January to September, over 90% are now employed as heavy equipment operators!

Meet Ray Richard
School Owner, Administrator and your Instructor

Ray Richard

Ray is a Level-A Heavy Equipment Operator who completed 3220 of the BC Provincial Instructor Diploma Program with an A+ grade. He has been instructing excavator and loader backhoe operator courses for over 9 years, 6 years as the owner of his own school.  He has over 37 years of practical experience, many of those as an owner-operator and has worked for most of the largest construction companies in the Lower Mainland. Ray  has been a business owner, contractor, sub-contractor and has professionally operated more than 60 different machines in his career. He has taught and trained hundreds of students (including many WorkSafe BC injured workers being retrained) who give him glowing reviews for his operating skills, patience, enthusiasm, knowledge, ability to explain things clearly and  his sense of humour.

Ray goes above and beyond to see that your  time spent at his school is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Without a doubt Ray can teach you things that younger  less experienced instructors just can’t!

For more about Ray’s teaching style and what you’ll learn, see our course information.
